The Moray Gaelic Group committee is extending a wide invitation to all people interested in Gaelic to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Moray Gaelic Group on Thursday 3 September at 1900hrs via an online Teams meeting.
Moray Gaelic Group is a voluntary group with a role to encourage learning and support the use of Gaelic in Moray and beyond. We do this in a variety of ways: by working in the Moray community as volunteers at Gaelic-related events, raising money from grant applications and donations for Gaelic education and social events, and behind the scenes by managing the Gaelic in Moray website and social media.
Like any healthy organisation, it is good practice to seek new members to the committee, particularly in lead roles of Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. It is crucial that these roles are filled to ensure continued support for Gaelic and the Community Development Officer in Moray.
Fresh people will bring fresh ideas.
We are looking for enthusiastic people of all Gaelic abilities to join us at the AGM.
